225 battles in 24 hours on the front lines; the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors are the hottest
Over the past 24 hours, 225 combat engagements took place on the front lines, as Russian forces continued massive attacks from the air, using drones and artillery, in an attempt to apply pressure on several fronts simultaneously. According to the General Staff, the most difficult situation remains in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors, where fighting continues unabated.
According to military sources, over the past 24 hours, the Russian army carried out 57 airstrikes, using 161 guided bombs. In addition, there was widespread use of kamikaze drones—6,393 units—as well as 2,194 artillery strikes on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.
The General Staff emphasizes that Ukrainian defense forces are holding their positions, repelling enemy attacks, and inflicting losses on the enemy along the entire line of contact. “Defense forces are stopping the Russian invaders, depleting their combat potential, and inflicting effective fire damage across all sections of the front line,” the statement reads.
Separately, the military reports significant enemy losses in the Pokrovsk direction. Over the past 24 hours, 24 occupiers were killed and another 10 were wounded there. One artillery system, six vehicles, and one drone control center were also destroyed. Two more artillery systems, one vehicle, two electronic warfare systems, 28 personnel shelters, and four ammunition depots were damaged.
In addition, 206 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or neutralized over the past 24 hours. The General Staff notes that the Pokrovsk sector remains one of the key hotspots of intense combat operations, where the enemy is attempting to break through the defenses but has not achieved any significant advances.
