Attack on Lviv Region: 7 injured, fires reported in residential buildings — State Emergency Service

Seven people were injured in the Lviv region as a result of a massive Russian attack. Details regarding the consequences are still being confirmed, and all victims are receiving medical care.

According to the State Emergency Service, rescue workers were simultaneously operating at several locations, extinguishing fires and addressing the aftermath of the shelling.

As a result of the strikes, roofs of residential buildings caught fire, cars were damaged, and windows in buildings were shattered.

More than 120 rescuers and 30 pieces of equipment were deployed to the scene.

State Emergency Service psychologists were also on site, providing assistance to residents, as were bomb disposal experts who inspected the areas after the shelling.

On March 24, Russian occupiers launched a massive attack on western regions of Ukraine using kamikaze drones. In Lviv, one of the drones struck a building in the city center, causing a fire.

This attack was part of a large-scale air assault by the Russian Federation that on March 24 targeted several regions of Ukraine, including critical infrastructure facilities in the rear areas.
