Berbock called on Russia to immediately withdraw its troops from Ukraine
Russia must immediately, completely, and unconditionally withdraw its troops from Ukrainian territory, and the international community must intensify diplomatic efforts to end the war. This was stated by UN General Assembly President Annalena Baerbock during a debate on the situation in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
According to her, the consequences of Russian aggression are already extending far beyond Ukraine’s borders. Baerbock cited instances of violations of the airspace of neighboring countries, including Latvia, Moldova, and Romania.
She also drew attention to the war’s impact on international security and the food market. In particular, threats to shipping in the Black and Azov Seas are affecting food prices and the availability of fertilizers in various countries around the world.
Berbock emphasized that the UN General Assembly is once again calling for an immediate, complete, and unconditional ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine.
She stressed that this is not only about ending the war but also about upholding the principles of international law, particularly the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of states within their internationally recognized borders.

At present, other countries have not made any specific commitments regarding the transfer of additional air defense systems or missiles to Ukraine. This was stated by German Foreign Minister Johann Wadepul following a trip to Kharkiv. According to him, requests from partners are at least not being rejected, but there are no concrete agreements yet.
