The SBU and the Main Intelligence Directorate thwarted an FSB terrorist attack against a Russian opposition figure in Ukraine
The SBU, in cooperation with the Main Intelligence Directorate, foiled a terrorist attack that the Russian FSB was planning against one of the leaders of the Russian opposition movement. According to intelligence agencies, the opposition figure arrived in Ukraine to mark Independence Day.
As of September 2, operational and investigative activities are underway, the SBU reported.
In Khmelnytskyi, Prokopenko, the head of the regional SBU office, was detained.
As a reminder, a man was detained in Odesa after firing shots at TCC employees.
Ukrainian businessman Dmytro Karchuk was detained at the border in Poland.
