The Russians attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 20 times in the past 24 hours

Since last night, Russian troops have attacked the Nikopol, Pavlohrad, and Kryvyi Rih districts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast more than 20 times. As of September 2, one person was wounded as a result of the enemy strikes.

Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram as of Wednesday morning.

According to him, the invaders used drones and artillery in the attacks.

In the Nikopol district, the city of Nikopol and the communities of Marganetsk, Chervonohryhorivka, and Pokrovsk came under enemy fire. A business, an apartment building, and a car sustained damage. A 45-year-old man was injured and will receive outpatient treatment.

In the Pavlohrad district, the Russian army struck the Yurievka community, damaging vehicles.

In the Kryvyi Rih district, the invaders targeted the Zelenodolsk community—a kindergarten and a store were damaged.

In Kyiv and several regions, an air raid alert was issued on the evening of September 1 at 6:24 p.m. due to the threat of Russian UAVs. The Ukrainian Air Force urged citizens to immediately seek shelter or follow the “two-walls” rule if safe premises were not accessible.

Ukraine is conducting combat tests of at least four jet interceptors designed to counter Russian jet drones.
