The Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 1,390 Russian occupiers over the past day
As of September 2, 2026, the Russian army’s losses in Ukraine had risen by another 1,390 soldiers. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 1,390 invaders over the past 24 hours.
As of September 2, Russia has lost the following in the war against Ukraine:
- personnel—approximately 1,491,030 (+1,390) individuals;
- tanks – 12,324 (+4);
- armored combat vehicles – 25,263 (+6);
- artillery systems – 49,016 (+62);
- multiple-launch rocket systems – 2,081 (+2);
- air defense systems—1,598 (+1);
- aircraft – 440 (+0);
- helicopters – 354 (+0);
- ground-based robotic systems – 2,464 (+12) units;
- operational-tactical UAVs – 494,146 (+1,969) units;
- cruise missiles – 5,070 (+10) units;
- ships/boats – 35 (+0);
- submarines – 2 (+0) units;
- Vehicles and tanker trucks – 142,715 (+383) units;
- special equipment – 4,625 (+2) units.
