Earlier, Russia had attacked Odesa with drones and missiles, destroying buildings.
In Kyiv and several regions, an air raid alert was declared on the evening of September 1 at 6:24 p.m. due to the threat of Russian UAVs. The Ukrainian Air Force urged citizens to immediately proceed to shelters or follow the “two-wall rule” if safe premises are not accessible.
Ukraine is conducting combat tests of at least four jet interceptors designed to counter Russian jet drones.
