Traffic jams stretching over 10 km were reported near the Kerch Bridge

Satellite images from Planet Labs dated June 24 show traffic jams stretching for several kilometers in front of the Kerch Bridge on the side of the temporarily occupied Crimea.

According to journalists, the lines of cars stretched from the checkpoint in front of the bridge to the area around the village of Ivanivka in the Kerch District. The total length of the traffic jam exceeds 10 kilometers.

According to estimates by “Schemes,” there are about 1,500 vehicles heading out of occupied Crimea.

Traffic on the Kerch Bridge is regularly suspended due to missile threats, Russian air defense operations, or the threat of attacks by maritime drones. Additionally, amid the fuel crisis and power outages, residents of the occupied peninsula are increasingly posting on social media about their intentions to leave Crimea.

In addition, a large-scale closure of gas stations has begun in the temporarily occupied Crimea due to a critical shortage of petroleum products. The fuel supply problem has even affected the largest regional fuel networks, including the companies TES and ATAN.

As a reminder: the fuel crisis in Russia is intensifying: gasoline is running out at gas stations and lines are growing.

Russia has allowed the use of lower-quality gasoline due to the fuel crisis.
