Near Vovchansk, three invaders surrendered to border guards

Ukrainian border guards captured three Russian soldiers near Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region. According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the invaders surrendered after Ukrainian troops detected their movements and carried out a successful operation at their positions. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector near Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region, Ukrainian border guards captured three Russian soldiers. The operation was carried out by fighters from the “Forpost” brigade, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported. According to border guards, Ukrainian troops noticed the occupiers’ movements while on duty at their positions. Following this, the soldiers carried out an operation, as a result of which the Russian soldiers decided to surrender.

The State Border Guard Service notes that such incidents have been occurring with increasing frequency recently. Russian soldiers, finding themselves under pressure and unable to continue fighting effectively, are increasingly choosing to surrender rather than resist. “Russians are increasingly choosing to surrender rather than continue fighting, realizing the hopelessness of their situation,” the Border Guard Service reported.

The Vovchansk direction has long remained one of the hottest spots on the front line in the Kharkiv region. Assaults, artillery strikes, and combat clashes occur there regularly, but Ukrainian forces continue to repel attacks by Russian troops.

The State Border Guard Service emphasizes that prisoners are guaranteed treatment in accordance with international law and the Geneva Conventions.

Russian troops continue intensive assaults in the Kupiansk direction, but are currently unable to penetrate directly into Kupiansk.

The occupiers complain that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are using drones to cut off the land corridor to Crimea.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated another 1,020 Russian soldiers on the front lines over the past 24 hours.
