Belarus continues to expand its military infrastructure near the border with Ukraine — State Border Guard Service of Ukraine

On July 10, Andriy Demchenko, a spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, stated that Belarus continues to expand its military infrastructure near the border with Ukraine, although no strike force has been detected on its territory at this time.

According to him, Ukrainian intelligence is monitoring the ongoing development of military infrastructure in Belarus. This includes the construction of training grounds, sites for the deployment of personnel and equipment, and the development of logistics routes.

According to Demchenko, the greatest activity is being observed near the borders with the Chernihiv and Kyiv regions. In the Volyn and Rivne regions, such activities are less intense.

At the same time, the State Border Guard Service spokesperson emphasized that, as of now, there are no signs of a strike force of Russian or Belarusian troops being formed on Belarusian territory that could pose a direct threat to Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to monitor the situation on the northern border and track any changes in military activity on the part of Belarus.

This was reported by Ukrinform.

As a reminder, Lukashenko stated that Belarusian military personnel will not take part in the war against Ukraine.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that one should not be naive about Belarus’s role in Russia’s war against Ukraine. According to him, Minsk is under strong influence from Moscow, and most of the Belarusian government’s decisions are effectively dictated by the Kremlin.
