Budanov praises Biletsky as a masterful commander and creator of an effective military system
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), Kyrylo Budanov, emphasized that Andriy Biletsky has established one of the most efficient combat systems in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He called the Third Assault Brigade and the Third Army Corps exemplary units and described Biletsky as a skillful military leader and statesman crucial for the country's defence capabilities.
Budanov highlighted that Biletsky understands the needs of every soldier, making recruitment into his units one of the most effective. Scaling the experience of the Third Assault Brigade to the army corps level has yielded significant results: professional training, modern equipment, and respectful treatment of personnel. Biletsky’s personal example also inspires youth, embodying the will to fight for the victory of good over evil.
Looking ahead, successful joint operations, including those at “Azovstal,” demonstrate Biletsky’s key role as a commander and strategist who strengthens the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ position in defending the nation.
