Some regions of Ukraine were left without power due to shelling by Russia
Due to hostilities and Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, some consumers in the Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions are temporarily without power.
The ministry noted that the Donetsk region has been hit the hardest, with the largest number of consumers remaining without electricity due to damage to energy facilities caused by hostilities and Russian shelling.
The Ministry of Energy assured that emergency repair crews are working around the clock to restore power to Ukrainian households as quickly as possible.
At the same time, no power rationing schedules are expected to be implemented on July 3. Consumers are advised to monitor official resources of distribution system operators for up-to-date information on possible changes.
The Ministry of Energy has also asked citizens to shift the use of energy-intensive appliances to daytime hours.
“Today, it is advisable to shift active electricity consumption to daytime hours—from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. In the evening hours, we ask consumers to use electricity sparingly, if possible, from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. This helps reduce the load on the system,” the Ministry of Energy emphasized.
