Part of occupied Crimea was left without power after damage to the power grid
In parts of the temporarily occupied Crimea, power outages continue on July 30 due to damage to facilities belonging to the occupying company “Krymenergo” and to the main power grid.
According to the occupying company, damage to the power infrastructure currently makes it impossible to restore power to certain settlements on the peninsula.
“It is currently impossible to provide electricity to some settlements on the peninsula due to damage to the company’s facilities and the main power grid. Power restrictions are in effect throughout the Republic of Crimea,” the statement reads.
Meanwhile, in the morning, the occupation administration of Yevpatoria reported that trams were unable to run due to a power outage. Later, electric transit service was restored.
This was reported by Suspilne Krym, citing the occupying “Krymenergo.”
As a reminder, on July 30, Robert Brovdi (“Madyar”), Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, reported on new results of combat operations by Ukrainian units. According to him, Ukrainian drone operators struck a base for unmanned naval vessels in the temporarily occupied Crimea, five elements of Russian air defense, and a launch site for attack drones.
On the night of July 27, 2026, units of the Unmanned Systems Department of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense struck the Russian electronic warfare station “Murmansk-BN” near Cape Fiolent in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
