One person was killed and eight were injured in a massive attack on the Kyiv region

On the night of September 1, the Kyiv region came under a massive attack by Russian missiles and drones. One person was killed in Boryspil, and eight others were injured, including a child.

 

In Boryspil, enemy strikes damaged a five-story residential building. Cars caught fire in a parking lot next to the building; the fire has already been extinguished. Forty-eight residents were evacuated from the building. According to preliminary reports, eight people were injured, including a child. All of the injured are receiving medical care.

In addition, a local business in Boryspil sustained damage. One person was killed in the attack, and another was injured.

Units of the State Emergency Service, medical personnel, police, and specialized services are working at the sites of the strikes and where debris fell. Cleanup efforts and damage assessments are ongoing, and information is being updated.

This was reported by Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.

As a reminder, Russia launched a massive missile attack on Kyiv overnight, resulting in fatalities.

In Kyiv’s Shevchenkivskyi district, a fire broke out in a non-residential building as a result of a Russian drone attack. Emergency services are on the scene, addressing the aftermath of the strike.

In Kyiv, rescue workers extinguished a large-scale fire that broke out in the Holosiivskyi district following a Russian attack on the morning of August 30. The fire engulfed a non-residential building covering an area of about 3,000 square meters; there were no casualties or injuries.
