Details of the new combined attack on Ukraine on May 14
On the night of May 14, Russia launched another combined attack on Ukraine, deploying about a hundred drones and various types of missiles. The main strike targeted Kyiv, where air defense forces were engaged.
This is stated in a post by the Ukrainian Air Force.
The attack began as early as 6:00 p.m. on May 13.
In total, the Air Force’s electronic warfare units detected and tracked 731 air attack vehicles—56 missiles and 675 UAVs:
3 Kh-47 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles (launch area – Lipetsk Oblast, Russian Federation);
18 “Iskander-M”/S-400 ballistic missiles (launch areas – Bryansk, Kursk);
35 Kh-101 cruise missiles (launch area – Vologda Oblast, Russian Federation);
675 Shahed, “Gerbera,” and “Italmas” strike UAVs, “Banderol” loitering munitions (2 units), and “Parody” decoy drones (from the following directions: Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russian Federation; Gvardeyskoye, Chauda, and the temporarily occupied Crimea).
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense forces have shot down or neutralized 693 targets—41 missiles and 652 drones of various types:
- 29 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
- 12 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles;
- 652 enemy UAVs of various types.
The following were recorded:
– 15 missiles and 23 strike UAVs hitting 24 locations;
– debris from downed UAVs falling at 18 locations.

As of this morning, the attack is ongoing. Several new groups of attack UAVs have entered Ukrainian airspace.
