Russian troops are unsuccessfully attempting to break through to Kupiansk from the north
Occupation forces continue their attempts to storm Kupiansk, focusing their main efforts on the northern approaches to the city.
According to Viktor Tregubov, a spokesperson for the Joint Forces Operation, the enemy is attempting to advance through the village of Holubivka.
However, the actual effectiveness of these actions has turned out to be significantly lower than the Russian command had expected.
According to the spokesperson, despite fierce attacks, the situation on this section of the front remains stable.
“They are trying to break through the city from the north, to press on it through Holubivka, but now with less effectiveness than they had hoped for previously. The situation in this regard remains unchanged; it’s just that their effectiveness is declining,” Tregubov emphasized on television.
The Russian military leadership continues to report on allegedly successful advances, but the real picture on the battlefield differs significantly from the propaganda reports.
Even in the absence of actual gains, the enemy is attempting to simulate activity through constant movements of personnel and equipment to create the illusion of an offensive.
Currently, small groups of occupiers remain in Kupiansk itself, attempting to entrench themselves, but the Defense Forces are taking all measures to completely eliminate them.
