On May 14, a power facility in the Chernihiv region was damaged as a result of a Russian attack. As a result, more than 31,000 customers in the Chernihiv district were left without power.
Chernihivoblenergo JSC reported this on Telegram.
"An energy facility in the Chernihiv district was damaged as a result of the enemy’s attack. Over 31,000 customers are without power. Energy workers will begin restoration work as soon as the security situation allows," the statement reads.
"Over 1,560 drones in a day is not the way to end the war," Zelenskyy said.
As a reminder, on the night of May 14, an air raid alert lasted nearly eight hours in Kyiv. In the Kyiv region, seven people were injured in a Russian attack, including a three-year-old child. In Kyiv, more than 30 people have been wounded following a massive shelling.
