Drones attacked the "KuibyshevAzot" chemical plant in Togliatti; smoke rose above the facility

In the city of Togliatti, Samara Oblast, Russia, drones attacked the large chemical company "KuibyshevAzot."

This is reported by OSINT channels.

Videos and photos taken by eyewitnesses have appeared online, showing thick columns of dark gray smoke. This may indicate that several fires broke out following the drone strike.

It is noted that this is the second attack on the facility in the past month. The previous drone strike on “KuibyshevAzot” was recorded on March 11.

"KuibyshevAzot" is one of Russia’s largest chemical plants, specializing in nitrogen chemistry and polymer production. The facility manufactures ammonia, urea, and ammonium nitrate, which are widely used as fertilizers in the agricultural sector.

In addition, the plant produces caprolactam—a key raw material for nylon production—as well as sulfuric acid and other chemical products.

The plant also produces polyamide plastics and synthetic fibers used in the automotive industry, the textile sector, and electronics. Overall, “KuibyshevAzot” is a full-cycle enterprise that produces both basic chemicals and finished materials.

In the temporarily occupied city of Alchevsk in the Luhansk region, unidentified drones attacked a metallurgical plant; there are also reports of a strike on a power substation.
