Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia, leaving two people injured
On the morning of August 6, Russian troops launched an attack on Zaporizhzhia. Two people were injured as a result of the enemy attack. Emergency services are on the scene, and the extent of the damage and the consequences of the shelling are being assessed.
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
According to him, a 52-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman are receiving all necessary medical care.
Earlier, Fedorov reported that a Russian drone had struck a residential area.
Fedorov also noted that the Russians struck Yuliivka with guided aerial bombs. An 84-year-old man is believed to be trapped under the rubble of a destroyed building.
Furthermore, according to the head of the Regional Military Administration, over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 1,041 strikes on 66 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. One person was killed and four others were wounded as a result of enemy attacks on the Zaporizhzhia district.
Russian forces carried out 23 airstrikes on Malokaterynivka, Novomykolaivka, Zorivka, Sofiivka, Viktorivka, Novotroitske, Zelenaya Dibrova, Vasylkove, Blahodatne, Ostrovske, Hryhorivka, Orikhiv, Soniachne, Svoboda, Preobrazhenka, Chervonyi Yar, and Chervona Krynytsia.
763 UAVs of various types (primarily FPV) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Kam’yane, Kushuhum, Richne, Balabine, Novotavriiske, Novooleksandrivka, Krynychne, Rozumivka, Novotroitske, Bilenke, Serhiivka, Lysogirka, Olenivka, Blakytne, Veselyi Hai, Mariivka, Dniprelstan, Novoyakovlivka, Veselyanka, Volodymyrske, Kanivske, Matviivka, Stepnogorsk, Primorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Lukyanivske, Mali Shcherbaky, Orihiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohirya, Hulyaypilsk, Vozdvyzhivka, Rybne, Girke, Chervona Krynytsia, Dobropillia, Pryluky, Staroukrainka, Sviatopetrivka, Tsvitkove, Preobrazhenka, Novoselivka, Kosivtseve, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Verkhnia Tersa, and Ternuvate.
Three rocket attacks from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) were recorded in Mali Shcherbaky and Zaliznychne.
252 artillery strikes hit Stepnogorsk, Primorsky, Stepove, Pavlivka, Lukyanivskyi, Maly Shcherbak, Orihiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohirya, Sviatopetrivka, Dobropillia, Rybne, Pryluky, Tsvitkove, Huliaipilske, and Staroukrainka.
A total of 77 reports were received regarding damage to infrastructure, homes, and vehicles.
