SBS drones struck another 19 energy facilities in Crimea and the Donetsk region

Over the past two days, drones from the Unmanned Systems Forces have struck another 19 power substations in occupied Crimea and the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk Oblast. Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, reported on the results of the operation.

According to him, in July alone, Ukrainian drones have already struck 136 energy facilities as part of Operation “Crimean Circuit Breaker Off.” Robert Brovdi, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, reported on the latest results of Ukrainian drone operators’ work. He said that over the past 48 hours, another 19 energy facilities used in the occupied territories were struck.

Most of the targets are located in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Strikes were also carried out on two power substations in the occupied part of Donetsk Oblast. “The total number of energy targets struck during Operation ‘Crimean Circuit Breaker Off’ from July 1 to July 24 was 136,” said Robert “Madyar” Brovdy. According to him, over the past two days, Ukrainian drones struck the following facilities in occupied Crimea:

  • the “Malorichenske” power substation;
  • “Primorsky”;
  • “Gurzuf”;
  • “Nasosna-16”;
  • "Voskhod";
  • “Oleksiyivka”;
  • “Vesele”;

In addition, two more power substations in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk Oblast—in the towns of Kremenivka and Druzhba—were hit. The report does not specify the exact nature of the damage sustained by these facilities or whether this affected the power grid’s operation.

Operation “Crimean Circuit Breaker Off” has been ongoing since early July. Its goal is to target energy infrastructure used by Russian troops to support their military facilities and logistics in the temporarily occupied territories.

There is currently no independent confirmation of the results of the latest strikes. At the same time, the Ukrainian command regularly reports on strikes against energy facilities that are of military significance to the occupying forces. The results of the operation were reported by SBS Commander Robert “Madyar” Brovdi.

As a reminder, the Ministry of Defense has approved more than 1,100 new weapons models in the past six months.

The Ministry of Defense has codified and authorized the use of the new Ukrainian-made V-1 unmanned aerial vehicle system by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These ultra-light bombers are designed to strike concentrations of personnel, vehicles, and armored equipment.
