Drones have reduced the survival time of Russian recruits at their positions to 20 minutes – The New York Times

After reaching the front lines, most Russian army recruits are killed or wounded within just 20–35 minutes due to massive attacks by Ukrainian drones.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces’ drones have become the most effective weapon on the modern battlefield. On average, from the moment a Russian soldier is enlisted into the Russian Armed Forces until he is killed or wounded on the front lines, he survives an average of 10 days to three weeks, since a significant portion of conscripts and contract soldiers undergo only a few days of training before being sent to the front lines.

Russia’s monthly casualties currently exceed 30,000 servicemen, and the total number of occupiers killed or wounded since the start of the full-scale invasion, according to Western estimates, has already exceeded one million. Currently, Russia suffers approximately eight casualties for every Ukrainian soldier killed, and the rate of recruiting new contract soldiers this year has dropped by about 30%. Despite this, the Russian army recruits between 800 and 1,000 volunteers daily thanks to offers of one-time bonuses of up to 80,000 dollars and debt forgiveness of up to 140,000 dollars, which significantly exceeds the average monthly salary in the aggressor country, which is about $1,000.

This was reported by The New York Times.

The General Staff reported 249 combat engagements on the front lines over the past 24 hours.

Russia’s losses over the past day totaled 1,230 soldiers
