Drone attack in Chernihiv region injures two women
In the village of the Novobilouska community in Chernihiv region, Russian drones injured two elderly women. Residential houses and outbuildings on two streets were damaged. Authorities are assessing the damage and providing assistance to those affected, according to Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, in a Telegram post.
On April 7, Russian forces struck the village of Novobilouska with drones. “Preliminary reports indicate that two elderly women were injured. Residential houses and outbuildings on two streets were also damaged,” Chaus said.
According to preliminary information, the victims sustained moderate injuries and have been hospitalized, receiving necessary medical care. Local authorities are assessing property damage and planning restoration work. Meanwhile, security measures continue to prevent further attacks and protect residents.
Additionally, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the destruction of a Russian frigate and several key enemy facilities.
In temporarily occupied Luhansk, Russian forces are forcibly recruiting employees from industrial enterprises to participate in the war.
