Johnson said that Putin is acting like someone who is about to lose
Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson commented on the latest massive Russian attack on Ukrainian cities, stating that the Kremlin’s actions are a sign of desperation and impending defeat.
According to Johnson, the brutal shelling of civilian infrastructure is a sign that the Russian dictator realizes he cannot achieve his goals in the war against Ukraine.
“Putin is behaving with the desperate barbarism of someone on the verge of defeat. He will never be able to subjugate Ukraine. He must acknowledge this—and save many thousands of lives on both sides,” wrote the former British prime minister.
Johnson posted his statement on the social media platform X, reacting to a message from the President of Ukraine regarding the consequences of the latest Russian attack.
