The effectiveness of intercepting Russian suicide bombers has doubled, says Fedorov
Over the past four months, Ukraine has significantly improved its effectiveness in shooting down Russian Shahed-type drones. According to Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, the interception rate of enemy drones has doubled thanks to the development of a “small-scale” air defense system and the expanded use of interceptor drones.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov made this statement during a meeting with the media.
“We continue to expand the ‘small-scale’ air defense system, thanks to which the interception rate of Shaheds has significantly improved. The percentage of Shaheds shot down by interceptor drones has doubled over the past four months. Although the number of Shaheds that Russia launches each month is increasing by 35%,” he noted.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine will purchase 5,000 pickup trucks through Prozorro.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine plan to set the minimum salary for military personnel at 30,000 hryvnias, as stated by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.
