New power outages have been reported in frontline regions due to shelling

As of the morning of June 11, power outages were still affecting consumers in a number of frontline regions of Ukraine as a result of Russian attacks. According to Ukrenergo, power outages have been reported in six regions that have been hardest hit by shelling. Restoration work is ongoing.

"As a result of Russian drone strikes and artillery shelling in frontline regions, as of this morning, consumers in the Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions are without power. Emergency repair work is underway wherever safety conditions permit," the statement said.

As of 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, electricity consumption is 1.2% lower than the previous day. This is due to clear weather across Ukraine, which allows residential solar power plants to operate efficiently.

"It is advisable to shift active electricity consumption today to the period when industrial solar power plants are most productive—from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please limit the use of high-power electrical appliances in the evening hours—from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM," Ukrenergo notes.

This was reported by NPC "Ukrenergo" on Facebook.

No power outages are expected on Sunday — Ukrenergo.

Ukrenergo does not forecast power outages on June 4.

As a result of another round of Russian drone and artillery strikes, as well as a significant deterioration in weather conditions, new large-scale power outages were recorded in eight regions of Ukraine on the morning of May 22.
