Photo: Russia attacked the Kyivgum factory in Brovary
As a result of the Russian attack on August 18, the facilities of the “Kyivguma” factory in Brovary, Kyiv Oblast, were damaged. No employees were injured, and the damage is not considered critical, according to preliminary estimates.
The company is currently assessing the consequences of the Russian shelling and the resulting damage.
Due to the damage sustained on August 18, production processes at the plant were temporarily suspended. At the same time, Kyivguma assured that it will fulfill all orders and obligations to its customers and partners.

According to the company’s plan, the plant is expected to resume normal operations as early as August 19.
Kyivguma specializes in the production of products made from rubber, latex, silicone, PVC, and thermoplastic elastomers.
The company manufactures over 4,000 product lines for various industries.

In particular, the company produces:
- medical devices;
- personal protective equipment;
- tactical first-aid kits;
- tourniquets for the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- components for industry and agriculture.
Thus, despite the damage caused by the Russian attack, the company plans to quickly resume operations and continue fulfilling orders.

On the evening of August 18 and overnight on August 19, Russian troops attacked the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast more than 10 times with drones and artillery. The shelling damaged an administrative building, a private home, and other civilian facilities, and a fire broke out. According to preliminary data, there were no fatalities or injuries.
Earlier, a Russian drone attacked a car carrying bread near Zaporizhzhia.
