Photos, videos: The State Emergency Service showed the aftermath of the nighttime Russian ballistic missile strike on Kyiv
On the night of August 11, Russian forces attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles. According to preliminary reports, one person was injured as a result of the strike. The State Emergency Service released footage from the site of the attack showing the aftermath of the Russian strike.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a missile struck the grounds of a children’s hospital, creating two craters and damaging windows and a gas pipe. The children and medical staff were in a shelter at the time of the attack.


At another location, the strike caused a fire in a warehouse building. The fire spread over 1,200 square meters. Rescuers contained the blaze and found one injured person, who was handed over to medical personnel.


Gas service workers also repaired the gas leak caused by damage to the pipeline. Rescue workers and other emergency services continue to operate at the sites. Information regarding the consequences of the attack is being verified.

Earlier, the General Staff confirmed a strike on the TANECO oil refinery in Tatarstan.
As a reminder, a gas station and a facility were damaged as a result of a Russian attack on the Poltava region.
In Dnipro on Friday, August 7, a World Health Organization humanitarian warehouse was destroyed as a result of the attack. There were no people on the premises at the time of the strike, and no casualties were reported.
Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers lost 1,130 troops and more than 400 pieces of military equipment.
In the Kherson region, one person was killed and two were wounded as a result of Russian shelling.
