The General Staff has released new data on Russian losses for the 24-hour period ending June 8

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders have killed 1,330 Russian soldiers. These updated figures were released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of June 8, 2026.

 

As of June 8, Russia has lost the following in the war with Ukraine:

  • personnel – approximately 1,374,950 (+1,330) individuals;
  • tanks – 11,997 (+8);
  • armored combat vehicles – 24,705 (+5);
  • artillery systems – 43,564 (+85);
  • MLRS – 1,847 (+3) units;
  • air defense systems – 1,409 (+2);
  • aircraft – 436 (+0) units;
  • helicopters – 353 (+0) units;
  • ground-based robotic systems – 1,607 (+12) units;
  • Operational-tactical UAVs – 336,224 (+2,161) units;
  • cruise missiles – 4,733 (+0) units;
  • ships/boats – 33 (+0) units;
  • submarines – 2 (+0) units;
  • Vehicles and tankers – 104,414 (+363) units;
  • special equipment – 4,259 (+2) units.
