General Staff: Since the start of the day, the occupiers have attacked Ukrainian Armed Forces positions 63 times
Since the start of the day, Russian troops have attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 63 times. The most intense fighting is taking place in the Pokrovsk, Huliaipole, Sloviansk, and Kostiantynivka sectors.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers carried out 18 assaults; one battle is ongoing. In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 14 attacks.
In the Huliaipil sector, the Defense Forces repelled 12 enemy attacks; three more clashes are ongoing. In the Kostiantynivka sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 assaults, one of which is still ongoing.
Fighting is also ongoing in the Northern Slobozhansky, Kursk, Southern Slobozhansky, and Lyman sectors. No enemy offensive attempts were recorded in the Kupiansky, Kramatorsky, Oleksandrivsky, and Prydniprovsky sectors.
In addition, Russian troops continue to shell border towns in the Sumy region.
