General Staff: Since the start of the day, Russia has attacked Ukrainian Armed Forces positions 70 times
Since the start of the day, Russian troops have attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 70 times. The situation remains most tense in the Pokrovsk and Sloviansk sectors.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the occupiers carried out 22 assaults in the Pokrovsk direction and 20 attacks in the Sloviansk direction. Some of the clashes are ongoing.
Fighting is also ongoing in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna, Lyman, Kramatorsk, and Huliaipole sectors. In the Sumy region, Russian troops continue to shell border towns.
No enemy offensive attempts have been recorded in the Oleksandrivka and Dnipro sectors.

As a reminder, the 425th Separate Assault Regiment “Skelya” confirmed that two Ukrainian soldiers who appeared in a video released by Russian propagandists were taken prisoner during fighting in Kostiantynivka. The unit emphasized that this does not mean the loss of the city or the failure of the operation, and stated that they will work to bring their soldiers home.
