The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 240 combat engagements on the front lines over the past 24 hours
Russian invaders have significantly intensified their offensive operations along the entire front line, engaging in 240 combat clashes with Ukrainian defenders over the past 24 hours.
Ukrainian defense forces are steadfastly holding back the powerful onslaught of Russian troops, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in terms of personnel and equipment.
The occupiers continue their attempts to advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, but are met with resolute resistance and subjected to effective fire.
Over the past 24 hours, the aggressor carried out 86 airstrikes, dropping 265 guided bombs on Ukrainian military positions and civilian cities. In addition, the use of 9,184 kamikaze drones and 3,296 rounds of fire was recorded, including 38 from multiple launch rocket systems.
The settlements of Fotovizh, Tovstodubove, Bachivsk, Vilna Sloboda, Sukhodil, Ulanove, Lisne, Partizanske, Stukalivka, and Holyshivske in the Sumy region were subjected to airstrikes.
In response, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck two areas of enemy troop concentration, three UAV command posts, and two enemy artillery systems.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, one combat engagement took place; the enemy fired nine guided aerial bombs and carried out 94 shelling attacks.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy launched 10 attacks near Staritsa, Lyman, Vovchanskiy Khutory, Okhrimivka, and Dvorichansky.
In the Kupiansk sector, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled an attempt to advance near Hlushevka, and in the Lyman sector, they repelled 17 attacks near Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Stavky, Dibrova, Shyikivka, and Lyman.
In the Sloviansk direction, 12 assaults were recorded in the areas of Zakitne, Riznykivka, Kryva Luka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy twice unsuccessfully attempted to dislodge the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Nikiforivka and Tykhonivka.
The Kostiantynivka sector suffered 17 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopil, Pleshchiivka, Rusynove Yar, Illinivka, and Mykolaypil. The highest concentration of assaults was recorded in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors.
In the Pokrovsk direction, 30 attacks were repelled near Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Novyi Donbas, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Bilytske, Dobropillia, Serhiivka, Novopidhorodne, and Novopavlivka.
In the Huliaipil sector, the occupiers carried out 38 attacks near Rybne, Varvarivka, Zaliznychne, Novoselivka, Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, Staroukrainka, Huliaipil, and Charivne.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, five assaults were recorded in the areas of Ternove, Vorone, and Dobropillia. In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Stepove once.
In the Dnipro direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled one offensive attempt by the invaders toward Antonivka.
