The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that 920 invaders were killed over the past 24 hours
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defense forces have eliminated 920 Russian soldiers, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The General Staff also provided its customary update on the enemy’s total losses as of May 20, 2026.
As of May 20, Russia has lost the following in the war with Ukraine:
- personnel – approximately 1,352,070 (+920)
- tanks – 11,943 (+3) units
- armored combat vehicles – 24,586 (+2) units
- artillery systems – 42,400 (+60) units
- MLRS – 1,795 (+3) units
- air defense systems – 1,388 (+2) units
- aircraft – 436 (+0) units
- helicopters – 353 (+0) units
- Ground-based robotic systems – 1,432 (+6) units
- Tactical-level UAVs – 301,072 (+1,873) units
- Cruise missiles – 4,632 (+0) units
- Ships/boats – 33 (+0) units
- submarines – 2 (+0) units
- Vehicles and tankers – 97,868 (+268) units
- Special equipment – 4,206 (+4) units
As a reminder, on May 16, the Ukrainian Armed Forces killed and wounded 1,170 Russian occupiers. The enemy’s total losses in the war have reached 1,348,790 personnel.
Prior to this, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated another 1,020 Russian troops on the front lines in a single day.
The occupiers complain that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are cutting off the land corridor to Crimea with drones.
