Since the beginning of the day, the Defense Forces have repelled 43 enemy attacks along the front. The most intense fighting occurred in the Pokrovske and Huliaipole directions, where Ukrainian defenders repelled twelve and nine attacks, respectively.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army continues artillery shelling of border areas in Sumy region, affecting over ten settlements.
In the Pokrovske direction, Russian forces attempted twelve times to push back Ukrainian units in the areas of Rodynske, Pokrovske, Kotlyne, and nearby villages, with three battles still ongoing. A similarly tense situation unfolded in the Huliaipole direction, where Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled nine attacks toward Varvarivka, Zaliznychne, and Dobropillia. In addition to ground assaults, Russian forces used aviation strikes in the areas of Shyroke and Charivne.
Elsewhere along the front, the intensity of fighting was lower, but the enemy continued efforts to improve tactical positions. In the Kostiantynivka direction, eight attacks were recorded, and in the Prydniprovske direction, three assaults targeted the Antonivskyi Bridge. Ukrainian soldiers maintain their positions, inflicting losses in personnel and equipment across all key directions. The situation remains under control despite constant pressure and aerial support for Russian assault groups.
It is also reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 980 Russian troops and two air defense systems in a single day.
Ukrainian forces are expanding the logistical corridor to Myrnohrad, according to the Airborne Forces. The Defense Forces continue to repel Russian attempts to advance in the Pokrovske and Myrnohrad areas. Pokrovske has become a critically important direction in Ukraine’s defense. Units in the area of responsibility of Operational Command “East” repelled 106 Russian attacks over the past day.
