Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have eliminated another 980 Russian troops and two air defense systems
Total combat losses of Russian forces in the war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to April 7, 2026, amount to approximately 1,305,470 personnel. Over the past 24 hours, another 980 invaders were eliminated.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
According to updated data, Russia has also lost:
- 11,841 tanks (+0 over the past day);
- 24,364 armored combat vehicles (+4);
- 39,562 artillery systems (+65);
- 1,722 multiple launch rocket systems (+3);
- 1,340 air defense systems (+2);
- 435 aircraft (+0);
- 350 helicopters (+0);
- 223,341 tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles (+1,945);
- 4,517 cruise missiles (+0);
- 33 ships and boats (+0);
- 2 submarines (+0);
- 87,862 vehicles and tankers (+248);
- 4,115 units of specialized equipment (+3).

As a reminder, Ukrainian soldiers from the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great demonstrated an act of humanity by rescuing animals from the front lines. They repurposed a drone, which is usually used to deliver supplies, and used it to evacuate a cat and a dog.
