The death toll from the Russian strike on Odesa has risen to two
The number of casualties from the overnight Russian attack on Odesa has risen to 16, with two Odesa residents killed.
This was reported on Telegram by Oleg Kipper, head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration.
“The number of casualties from the nighttime attack on Odesa has risen to 16; unfortunately, two of them have died,” Kipper reported.
He noted that as of now, 14 people are receiving medical care. Two of the victims are in critical condition due to burns and injuries. Doctors assess the condition of the other wounded as moderate and satisfactory.
As a reminder, on March 28, a 20-year-old woman was killed in the Zno-Novgorod community of the Shostka district in Sumy region as a result of artillery shelling by Russian troops. Her 6-year-old sister was injured.
On the night of March 28, Maternity Hospital No. 5 in Odesa was attacked by a Russian drone. All children and patients were successfully evacuated, and the youngest patients, who required mechanical ventilation, were saved thanks to a bomb shelter equipped with an intensive care unit.
