On April 18, Ukrainian troops destroyed a Russian TOS-1A “Sontsepok” heavy flamethrower system in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
This was reported by SBS Commander Robert “Madyar” Brovdi.
According to him, the system was destroyed by pilots of the 414th Separate Brigade “Madyar’s Birds” in cooperation with a unit of the 412th Brigade “Nemesis.”
“Pilots of the 414th Brigade ‘Madyar’s Birds,’ together with pilots of the 412th Brigade ‘Nemesis,’ destroyed a highly toxic scourge—the TOS-1A ‘Soncep’ heavy multiple rocket launcher system—on April 18, 2026, in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia Oblast,” Brovdi noted.
