Kyiv region under attack: consequences of Russian strikes on 25 November
On the night of 25 November, the Kyiv region suffered a significant attack by Russian forces, particularly in the Brovary and Bila Tserkva districts. The most severe damage occurred in Bila Tserkva, where a four-storey residential building was hit by an explosion, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported.
About 46 people, including children and elderly residents, were evacuated. A 14-year-old child was seriously injured and is receiving medical attention.
Four additional residential buildings were completely destroyed, and debris from the damaged structures is still being cleared.
Teams from the State Emergency Service and the Red Cross are on site to assist those left homeless. Tents have been set up to provide warmth, and victims are being supplied with hot drinks, warm clothing, and other essential humanitarian aid. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service are also helping residents cope with stress and shock.
Rescuers continue to clear debris and assess damage to nearby buildings. Work will proceed until the consequences of the attack are fully addressed.
