SBS Commander Madyar revealed the strategy for isolating Crimea to Reuters

The Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine plan to completely cut off the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula from logistical links with Russia in the near future. The intensification of precision strikes by Ukrainian drones on the occupied territories has already led to a serious disruption of the invaders’ military logistics and a critical shortage of fuel supplies for the enemy forces.

According to SBS Commander Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, thanks to successful air operations, the intensity of Russian transport traffic on the strategic R-280 “Novorossiya,” which runs from Rostov-on-Don to Crimea, has decreased by 71%. This highway is a key artery for supplying Russian forces, and Brovdi predicts that within a month it will be under Ukraine’s full fire control.

The agency head compared effective strikes against the occupiers’ unprotected equipment on this road to hunting partridges in an open field and emphasized that the strategic goal is to create conditions that will force the Russian army to leave the peninsula on its own.

Military analysts confirm the high effectiveness of Ukraine’s campaign of medium-range strikes. The systematic destruction of logistics hubs has significantly reduced the supply of weapons and ammunition to the front lines, which effectively halted the enemy’s advance last month. In addition, the successful weakening of the Russian air defense system has opened up opportunities for long-range attacks that have disabled oil infrastructure and major weapons production facilities deep behind enemy lines on Russian territory.

This was stated by SBS Commander Robert “Madyar” Brovdi in an exclusive interview with the international news agency Reuters.

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, fuel shortages could escalate into a much more serious crisis. Due to logistical difficulties on the peninsula, prices have already begun to rise, lines are forming, and residents are actively stocking up on essential goods.

The shortage of automotive fuel, which was previously observed in the temporarily occupied Crimea, has begun to spread to the southern regions of the Russian Federation. Residents of the Krasnodar Krai and the Rostov Oblast are reporting shortages of gasoline and diesel fuel.
