Air defense forces destroyed 133 of 160 Russian drones
Ukraine's air defense forces have shot down 133 of the 160 drones used by Russian troops to attack the country since the evening of April 10.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram.
It is noted that starting at 6:00 p.m. on April 10, the enemy launched a large-scale attack using Shahed, “Gerbera,” “Italmas,” as well as other types of drones from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), the temporarily occupied Donetsk, and Chauda in Crimea. About 100 of them were Shahed-type drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down or neutralized 133 enemy drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
At the same time, 20 strike drones were recorded hitting 10 locations, and debris from downed drones was found at 11 additional locations.
“The attack is ongoing; there are several enemy drones in the airspace,” the Air Force emphasized.
Another nighttime attack on Odesa resulted in civilian casualties and extensive damage to civilian infrastructure.
Additionally, the Russians attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region nearly 50 times in a single day, according to the Regional Military Administration.
In the Odesa region, the Russians attacked an oil tank in the port.
