Russia killed a man in an MLRS strike on Izyum

On August 24, Russian troops fired on Izyum in the Kharkiv region using a “Tornado-S” multiple-launch rocket system; a 46-year-old man was killed. A 13-year-old girl suffered shrapnel wounds as a result of the strike and was hospitalized.

 

According to the investigation, the strike occurred around 8:15 a.m.

Preliminary reports indicate that the enemy used a “Tornado-S” multiple-launch rocket system. The impact was recorded on the ground near residential buildings.

“A 46-year-old man was killed. A 13-year-old girl sustained shrapnel wounds. She is receiving medical care at the hospital,” the post states.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime resulting in the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As a reminder, Russia attacked warehouses and energy facilities in the Odesa region.

Earlier, drones attacked Ozon logistics centers in two regions of Russia at once.

Drones also attacked Krasnodar and caused a fire at a warehouse

Earlier, warehouses caught fire in Akulovo, near Moscow.

As a reminder, Ukrainian Armed Forces drones reached the Arkhangelsk region—located approximately 1,900 km from the border with Ukraine—for the first time. Their target may have been the Plesetsk Cosmodrome, Russia’s only active military spaceport.
