In Kherson, Russian drones destroyed Red Cross supplies worth 28 million hryvnia
On the evening of August 23, a Ukrainian Red Cross warehouse caught fire in Kherson due to a Russian drone attack.
The warehouse stored medical supplies, blankets, hygiene kits, as well as equipment for providing water and electricity. The total value of the destroyed humanitarian supplies amounts to nearly 28 million hryvnias.
It is noted that the fire damaged and destroyed humanitarian supplies stored in the warehouse worth nearly 28 million hryvnias. These included equipment and supplies for preparing for the fall and winter, as well as emergency response supplies for dealing with the aftermath of shelling, particularly materials for temporarily shoring up damaged buildings.
Specifically, the warehouse held medical supplies, blankets, hygiene kits, equipment for providing water and electricity, and other humanitarian aid.
“No Ukrainian Red Cross staff or volunteers were injured. Despite the loss of humanitarian supplies, the Ukrainian Red Cross continues its work in Kherson and the region. Teams continue to respond to the aftermath of the attacks and provide necessary assistance to the people,” the statement reads.

The Russian State Duma expects to continue the war against Ukraine until 2030.
As a reminder, Russia attacked warehouses and energy infrastructure in the Odesa region.
