Another relative of the commander of the Russian Aerospace Forces may have been killed in the Moscow explosion
Reports from Russia indicate the death of Major General Valery Plokhotnyuk, who is said to be related to Alexander Chaika, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Federation’s Aerospace Forces.
According to Russian media, he was buried on August 6 at the Troekurovsky Cemetery in Moscow.
The publication claims that one of Plokhotnyuk’s personal documents was revoked on August 1—the day of the explosion near the Balzi Rossi restaurant in Moscow. However, there is currently no direct confirmation that his death is linked to the explosion.
Earlier reports indicated that Oleksandr Chaika’s son-in-law, Danylo Peredriy, was killed in the same incident. According to Russian Telegram channels, a private event at the restaurant may have been held to celebrate the 55th birthday of the commander of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

Russian journalists have identified the person who was secretly buried on August 5 at one of Moscow’s cemeteries. It was Lieutenant General Igor Yerusalimov. A wreath bearing his last name and the letter Z was spotted during the funeral procession.
Maria Chaiko—the daughter of Alexander Chaiko, an army general of the aggressor state, the Russian Federation—may have been injured in the explosion at the Balzi Rossi restaurant in central Moscow. This was reported by the Russian publication “Verstka,” citing a source close to the restaurant’s management.
