Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 997 strikes on 56 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Ten people were wounded as a result of enemy attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district.
According to Fedorov, over the past 24 hours, the Russian army carried out 18 airstrikes on Malokaterynivka, Komyshuvas, Veselyanka, Hryhorivske, Rizdvyanka, Yuliivka, Matviivka, Zhovta Krucha, Orikhiv, Chervonyi Yar, Chervona Krynytsia, Omelnyk, Samiilivka, Tymoshivka, Kopani, Vasynivka, and Novoivanivka.
In addition, 727 drones of various types, primarily FPV drones, attacked 44 settlements in the region.
Among the areas targeted by UAVs were, in particular, Zaporizhzhia, Balabine, Komyshuvakha, Richne, Krynychne, Novoyakovlivka, Veselyanka, Pidhirne, Rozumivka, Tavriiske, Odarivka, Matviivka, Stepnogorsk, Primorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Orikhiv, Huliaipilske, and Novoivanivka.
Russian forces also carried out four attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems. Kushuhum, Malokaterynivka, and Charivne came under fire.
Another 248 artillery strikes targeted Stepnogorsk, Primorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Lukyanivske, Mali Shcherbaky, Zaliznychne, Novoandriivka, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohirya, Svyatopetrivka, Dobropillya, Rybne, Pryluky, Hulyaypilsk, Staroukrainka, Preobrazhenka, and Tsvitkove.
As a result of the Russian attacks, law enforcement agencies and local authorities received 93 reports of damage to infrastructure, residential buildings, and vehicles.
In total, over the past 24 hours, Russian occupiers carried out 997 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region, continuing to use aircraft, drones, multiple launch rocket systems, and artillery.

On the night of August 5, 2026, as a result of Russian shelling of the Kyiv region, warehouses containing finished products belonging to JTI Ukraine were destroyed, and goods belonging to distributors and retail partners of Imperial Brands Ukraine were damaged. None of the employees of the affected companies were injured.
In Kyiv, Russian shelling damaged the logistics center of the “Ranok” publishing house.
Russia cynically referred to the massive attack on Ukraine as a “retaliatory strike.”
