The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that only military targets were hit during the nighttime attack

Russia’s criminal Ministry of Defense claims that during the nighttime strike on Kyiv on July 6, the targets were allegedly exclusively military facilities. However, we can see that in reality, Russian missiles struck residential areas, killing at least 14 people.

The Russian ministry claimed that on the night of July 6, only military-industrial facilities were allegedly struck. These include enterprises, fuel depots, airfields, and factories that produce drones and “Neptune” missiles.

“Infrastructure at military airfields in the Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Kyiv regions has been damaged,” the statement reads.

The Russian Ministry of Defense’s statement makes no mention of civilian buildings. In reality, however, missiles struck at least two residential buildings in Kyiv that night, and approximately 30 high-rise buildings were damaged.

As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on Russia’s massive nighttime attack on Kyiv on July 6, during which the occupiers launched 68 missiles and deployed 351 attack drones.

During the morning shelling on July 6, Russian terrorists struck the DAO sorting terminal of the “Nova Poshta” company in Dnipro. The strike caused a fire on the premises, which rescue workers quickly extinguished.

The Russians last launched a massive attack on Ukraine on the night of July 2. On that occasion, Russian forces launched 496 UAVs of various types and 74 missiles—including air-, ground-, and sea-based missiles of various types—at Ukraine.
