Ramzan Kadyrov’s young sons own luxury mansions in central Grozny
Two sons of Chechnya’s leader Ramzan Kadyrov — 19-year-old Ali and 9-year-old Abdullah — have become owners of luxury mansions in central Grozny with a total value of around 1.3 billion rubles.
Their properties are located just a few hundred metres from Kadyrov’s own residence, according to data obtained from the Russian state registry that has entered the public domain.
Ali Kadyrov owns a plot of 4,500 square metres and a house of 1,300 square metres. He purchased the mansion in February 2024 from a man named Adam Kasumov, who has no known business interests but somehow owned such expensive real estate. Experts estimate that the older son’s mansion is worth at least 500 million rubles.
Ali heads the fighting club Akhmat and in 2024 received a medal For Services to the Chechen Republic. That same year, while still a minor, he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. On social media, Ali showcases a luxurious lifestyle — for example, posting about a flight to Mecca on his father’s private jet, an Airbus ACJ319 with registration RA-73417.
His younger brother Abdullah became a property owner at just seven years old. He owns a 4,000-square-metre plot with a 2,000-square-metre house, which was gifted to him by their father, Ramzan Kadyrov. Initially, the Chechen leader leased the land and later transferred it to his son, who subsequently formalised ownership. The property is estimated to be worth around 800 million rubles.
