In the Dnipropetrovsk region, law enforcement officers came under Russian fire while carrying out a mission to evacuate civilians from frontline areas.

According to law enforcement officials, the incident occurred during a trip to the village of Pokrovske in the Synelnykivskyi district—while on the road, police officers came under enemy fire, and an “impact” was recorded.
“Amid shelling and fires, police continue to evacuate residents from frontline communities in the Dnipropetrovsk region. During another trip to the village of Pokrovske in the Synelnykivskyi district, law enforcement officers came under enemy fire—an impact was recorded along the way,” the statement reads.
Despite the danger, the evacuation efforts continued. The police noted that as a result of fires caused by the shelling, some local residents lost their documents and personal belongings. Law enforcement officers helped gather necessary items and transported people to safer areas.
It is also reported that before leaving, police officers took care of animals left without owners, including feeding the dogs.
