In the Donetsk region, 350 children remain in the mandatory evacuation zone

In the settlements of Donetsk Oblast where the forced evacuation of families with children is ongoing, 299 families remain. A total of 350 children remain there.

“In the settlements where a mandatory evacuation has been declared—requiring children to be evacuated along with their parents, guardians, or other legal representatives—a total of 350 children in 299 families remain. They are located in five settlements across three territorial communities,” Ryzhakova reported.

According to her, the largest number remains in the Kramatorsk community—341 children in 291 families.

The Regional State Administration representative noted that over the past week, 81 children from 66 families were forcibly evacuated from the region; in total, 352 children from 270 families were evacuated in August.

This was reported during an online briefing by Yulia Ryzhakova, head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration’s Children’s Services Department, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

Eleven thousand civilians remain in the combat zone in the Donetsk region.
