There have been 62 clashes on the front lines since the start of the day
Since the start of the day on April 3, Russian occupation forces have carried out 62 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders.
The enemy is demonstrating the greatest offensive activity in the Pokrovsk direction, and a significant escalation of the situation is also being recorded on the Kostyantynivka section of the front.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that as of 4:00 p.m., the invaders continue to press along the entire line of contact.
In addition to ground assaults, the enemy is actively using aviation and rocket artillery, terrorizing border settlements in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attempted 25 times to dislodge the Defense Forces in the areas of Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Udachne, and other settlements.
Despite constant attempts at assault operations, Ukrainian soldiers are holding a firm defense, depleting the attackers’ reserves.
The Kostiantynivka sector has become the second-hottest spot, with 14 attacks recorded near Ivanopil, Pleshchiivka, and Sofiivka.
The Russian army is attempting to improve its tactical position but is meeting with resolute resistance from Armed Forces units.
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, the occupiers used guided aerial bombs and shelled our troops’ positions over 60 times.
The situation remains tense in the Southern Slobozhansky and Huliaipil directions as well, where the enemy carried out a series of assaults.
In the Lyman and Kupiansk sectors, isolated attempts by the enemy to advance were recorded and successfully repelled.
Meanwhile, in the Dnipro and Orikhiv sectors, the invaders did not conduct offensive operations, limiting themselves to airstrikes.
As a reminder, Russia has lost another 1,230 soldiers and three tanks in the war against Ukraine.
