There were 69 engagements on the front lines, half of them in the Pokrovsk direction
Since the start of the current 24-hour period, Russian invaders have launched 69 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders, attempting to break through the defenses in several sectors of the front.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the most difficult situation remains in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy is acting most aggressively.
The aggressor continues to terrorize the border areas of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, regularly shelling peaceful settlements.
In particular, Prohres, Volfyne, Bachivsk, and a number of other villages came under fire, while 45 shelling incidents were recorded in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna sector.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the start of the day, the occupiers have attempted 33 times to dislodge our units from their positions.
Fighting took place in the areas of the settlements of Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Udachne, and Novopavlivka, with four enemy attacks still ongoing.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the invaders carried out 11 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Sofiivka, and Toretsk, attempting to improve their tactical position.
Meanwhile, in the Huliaipole direction, 12 assaults took place, and enemy aircraft struck the areas of Vozdvizhivka and Shyroke.
In the Lyman and Sloviansk sectors, Ukrainian troops repelled a total of six enemy attempts to advance toward strategically important points.
In the Dnipro direction, the occupiers unsuccessfully attempted to attack in the area of the Antonivsky Bridge but were met with a strong repulse.
As a reminder, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have denied reports of the loss of the villages of Platonivka and Minkivka in the Donetsk region.
Also, since the start of the day, Russian occupiers have attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 49 times, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
