Over the past 24 hours, there were 256 clashes on the front lines; the Pokrovsk and Sloviansk sectors are the hottest spots
Over the past day, 256 combat engagements were recorded on the front lines, and Russian troops launched massive missile, air, and drone strikes against the positions of the Defense Forces and civilian infrastructure. The most intense fighting took place simultaneously on several fronts, where the enemy attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses dozens of times. Ukrainian military officials report that they repelled the attacks and struck enemy targets deep behind the front lines.
Over the past 24 hours, the front line has once again turned into a continuous line of intense fighting, where Russian troops simultaneously employed missiles, aircraft, drones, and massive assaults in an attempt to apply pressure across several sectors at once. According to the General Staff, the enemy carried out three missile strikes involving six missiles, 90 airstrikes, and dropped 270 guided bombs, while simultaneously deploying over 9,700 kamikaze drones and carrying out more than 3,000 artillery barrages. Ukrainian defenses responded with strikes on enemy troop concentrations, artillery positions, and command posts.
The fiercest fighting took place simultaneously across several operational fronts, where battles became protracted and required the constant holding of positions. In the Sloviansk sector, 29 attacks were recorded; in the Kostiantynivka sector, 18; and in the Pokrovsk sector, 31 breakthrough attempts, all of which Ukrainian units were able to repel. On the Huliaipole sector, the enemy carried out 24 attacks; on the Lyman sector, 14; and on the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, 11, indicating consistent pressure across several sections of the front.
Isolated attempts to advance were also recorded in the Kupiansk, Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, and Oleksandrivka sectors, where Russian troops operated in small assault groups. At the same time, Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck enemy concentration areas, destroying some of their equipment, artillery systems, and drone control centers.
In some sectors, particularly the Dnipro, Volyn, and Polissya sectors, no active offensive operations were recorded; however, the overall intensity of combat engagements across the entire front line remains high, indicating Russia’s attempts to maintain constant pressure and stretch the Ukrainian defenses.
In Volgograd, Russia, one of the enterprises of the military-industrial complex was hit following the launch of FP-5 “Flamingo” missiles. According to preliminary data, the strike hit the production facilities of a plant that manufactures equipment for the Russian military.
Over the past day, the Russian army lost another 1,350 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia’s total personnel losses have already approached 1.4 million.
